He was not only a brilliant scientist and an inspiring teacher, but he was also a truly kind and good person with a razor-sharp sense of humour. Although working with Dentists he was a great collaborator and really enguaged with our work on multiple sclerosis and became an integral part of our team.

We worked in the US for a while where he picked up the cookie cutter scientist outfit (OK I never saw him in loafers or clunky tennis shoes or Fawn Chinos), love of Hawaiian shirts and a nice set of gnashers. He was a skilled inventor with a midas touch for science and shooting the breeze over a cuppa was one of the pleasures of my science life. If you think my spelling is bad you are going to have to watch out because he has been secretly correcting me for quite a while, especially after MD2 retired.

https://www.theasklab.com

So it now remains to publish our last set of experiments

Source: multiple-sclerosis-research.org

Tweet I guess this blog is about celebrating research, but sadly research is a loser today and it comes with great sadness to report the passing of ProfAngry (1960-2026) who has been one of our research buddies for many years.
