You may have heard of pentapeptides before, as they are magic ingredient that was in face cream that was suggested to get rid of wrinkles. I thought this was marketing hocum and wondered what this tosh actually meant. A pentapeptide is something that is five (Penta) amino acids (peptide) long. It could be any old SH1.  In the lab we called this type of science as doing a Sculley. She was in this Sci-Fi programme and she used to use big science words to sound like she knew what she was talking about but if you knew what the words were you realised that she was talking out of behind and was talking utter SH1. <\/p>\n<p> Almulla AF, Normatov MG, Supasitthumrong T, Maes M.
