Happy Friday, y\u2019all! I hope you have had\u00a0a great week\u00a0and that you are looking forward to a lovely weekend! During this past week, what was your best day and why was it your best day? Was there anything that happened during your week that upset you? Regardless of whether your good days outweigh the bad days or the other way around, you have survived another week. I think that everyone reading my posts knows that I have lived with Multiple Sclerosis for more than half of my life, and the medication I take to slow down the progression is called\u00a0Gilenya, which I have discussed the cost challenges previously. I cannot say what changed or what the reason is, but when I ordered the\u00a0Gilenya\u00a0this past week, the cost went from $220 down to $85. I thought the person I was talking to was joking and thought this would be a sick joke, but she was\u00a0very serious. This was\u00a0a very nice\u00a0surprise, and I wish I knew what changed this month!<\/p>\n

As everyone who has read my posts knows, we have five cats living in our home\"🐱\". Their ages range from 6 years old to\u00a011 weeks\u00a0old, and with the age differences, they get along very well\"😽\". Their personalities are\u00a0very unique, but the blend works perfectly. Yesterday, I took the newest addition to our kitty family, Blitzen, to the veterinarian for her second booster shot. Blitzen did very well during her appointment and is a healthy, growing little girl\"😽\"! During her last appointment approximately three weeks ago, she weighed 0.7 pounds; yesterday she weighed 2.7 pounds, so she has gained 2 pounds over three weeks! It is hard to believe this kitten was so tiny at only two weeks old when we brought her into our home with a double eye infection, had to be bottle-fed for several weeks, learned how to use a litter box, and adapted to her new family, and is thriving so well. It is heartbreaking to think about what would have happened to her if we had not taken her\u00a0in. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our lives are a series of unique challenges, interspersed with scattered moments of pleasure. No matter the situation, we must learn to let go of negativity. Even though those issues are complicated to discuss and put into words, it is crucial to try because holding onto negativity can cause disastrous effects on our lives moving forward.\u00a0I believe Friday\u00a0is a perfect day to let go of negative emotions, as this can let us enjoy the short weekend to the fullest. Our lives are short, and when we hold onto negative energy, we only shorten our lives. There is no reason to hold onto negativity, and once we let go, everything will fall into place and work out for the best. We might not understand the possibilities that can happen after we let go of negative energy, but things cannot get much worse if we do. I hope the quote I shared about letting go helps you discover a way to take a deep breath, step back from the situation weighing you down, relax, and let go!<\/p>\n
