Happy Tuesday, y\u2019all! I hope you have been doing well and taking everything that life throws your way in stride. The truth is, we do not have a choice but to try to handle the struggles in life the best we can. \u00a0I know it is not easy, because we often feel like we have been defeated and are not catching any breaks, but life has a funny way of working things out in time. Of course, even though life works everything out in time, we always want things to happen sooner, but we must believe that everything in our lives is happening the way it is meant to happen. Unfortunately, we will never have all the answers and must try pushing forward the best we can.<\/p>\n

Over the past week, I have struggled to write, which is frustrating. I feel stuck in a cycle of chaos, mostly because my job search has yielded no results. It is difficult not to get responses to any of my applications, but I did have an interview yesterday. The position is\u00a0similar to\u00a0roles I have done before and could be a good fit, though it is commission-based with bonus potential. The lack of guaranteed pay concerns me, but it would still be an improvement over my current situation. I am carefully considering if this opportunity is right for me, as other aspects of the job give me pause. I am trying to stay optimistic about my job search and do not want to settle for something without guarantees. <\/p>\n

Yesterday, I reached out to the disability office because of a letter I received. The letter confused me as I have mailed back everything that was\u00a0requested. Unfortunately, they received only one of the documents back, but I hope they will receive the other this week. I was told there is a specific person\u00a0designated\u00a0to my case, so I will follow up again later this week. Thankfully, our local office has not shut down like the rest of the government, so that gives me hope that things are going in the right direction. Logically, I will not get overly hopeful because I know there is a\u00a0chance that things\u00a0will not work out in my favor, but that does not mean I will give up. <\/p>\n

Life may knock us down at\u00a0different times, but we never have to give up. Depending on what is happening in life at any given time, it might feel like the fight of our lives, but we can win if we never give up. The moment we stop fighting for what we want or need in life is the moment we have lost the battle. Every struggle we endure in life is another test of our strength and resilience. I cannot speak for everyone, but I refuse to surrender and plan to never give up until I win the war of life! I hope the quote I have shared gives you the extra push you need to never give up because someday, everything in life will work out and make perfect sense. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The weather has changed significantly, so it has been much colder. Of course, I do not mind the\u00a0cold weather\u00a0because you can add more clothes to stay warm, but I am extremely concerned about the family of feral cats I continue feeding. I know cats are survivors and manage\u00a0different\u00a0temperatures, but I still worry about them. Unfortunately, our house is at full capacity with our five cats, so even if we wanted to let them inside, at least two of them are standoffish and do not let me get close. The only thing I can do for these precious cats is to ensure they have food and a warm blanket to sleep on the porch.<\/p>\n
