Spiritual Healing-We Don’t Need Another Savior

A New Name, A Deeper Purpose

I’m changing the name of this blog from My Self-Healing Journey to My Spiritual Healing Journey.

When I first began writing here, I had no idea where it would lead. I only knew I had to trust God—who instructed me to share my journey. I’ve always written only when I felt divinely guided—led by Source. In the beginning, I believed this blog would document a purely physical healing journey. But again and again, I’ve been shown that what’s unfolding is much deeper.

This isn’t just about healing my body.
It’s about awakening my spirit.
It’s about remembering who I truly am.

From Guilt to Grace

For most of my life—from as far back as I can remember until the age of 43—I believed that Jesus Christ was my savior. My personal “get out of hell free” card.

By religious standards, I wasn’t exactly living a Godly life. I was constantly “sinning,” and I knew it. So, every night, I would pray for forgiveness, clinging to scriptures like 1 John 1:9:
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

You might be surprised how often I prayed to be a better person… a better Christian. Guilt was a heavy cloak I wore daily. I didn’t attend church—which my parents weren’t thrilled about—but with both of my brothers identifying as atheists, I figured I was doing something right just by believing.

But… believing in what, exactly?

I believed that if I accepted that a man died on a cross for me, I’d go to some amazing place when I died.
But something about that never fully settled.
It made me pause.
Things that make you go hmmm…

The Turning Point

Then, in 2020, everything changed.

My MS had progressed to the point where I needed a wheelchair full-time. I was slowly losing my autonomy and was desperate for a cure—or some kind of spontaneous healing. That’s when I was introduced to the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, and I dove headfirst into meditation.

One day, during a particularly deep meditation, I had an epiphany—a direct conversation with God, Source, Infinite Love. I wrote about it in a post called Finding Source. One message I received was simple, and earth-shattering:

Jesus was just a person.
Just like you. Just like me.
A human being, born to human parents.

The only difference? He remembered who he truly was—who we all are: one with God. Divine beings in human bodies.

Not Lost—But Found

So, if I no longer identify as a Christian… what does that mean?

Am I floating through life without direction?

Not at all.

That single moment placed me on a path of deep searching—seeking answers to questions I’d never dared to ask before. I began to see that Jesus didn’t come to be worshipped. He came to remind us what’s possible when we live from a place of divine remembrance.

He wasn’t saying, “I’m your savior.”
He was saying, “This power lives in you, too.”

What I experienced in that meditation wasn’t just a conversation with Source—it was a knowing that radiated through my entire being. It was euphoric, expansive… a love so pure and unconditional, I still don’t have words for it.

There was no judgment.
Only unity.

I knew—with every cell—that we are all part of One Source. We are energetically connected. Everything on Earth, everything in the cosmos—even the “bad” things—is part of this great divine unfolding.

Everything is here for us.

Our “job” is simply to remember where we came from.
To save ourselves… from ourselves.

And In the End, It All Comes Down to Love

Love for ourselves.
Love for our friends.
Love for our enemies.
Love for what brings us joy—and even what triggers us.

Can we embrace it all and trust that it’s here to teach us?

Do we really trust God?

Because if we did—if we do—we would never fear anything. We’d trust our intuition, knowing those gentle nudges often come from Love itself.

There’s so much freedom in that trust…
But also great responsibility.

As the Genie said in Aladdin:
“Phenomenal cosmic powers… itty bitty living space.”

We carry the vastness of the Divine in the small, humble vessel of the human experience.

So Where Do We Go From Here?

This blog is no longer just about healing my body—or checking off spiritual to-do lists.

It’s about waking up.
It’s about rediscovering the truth that’s always lived inside me—and inside you.

From now on, I’ll continue sharing from my heart—not as someone searching for healing, but as someone remembering her wholeness.

This is a spiritual journey now.
A journey of releasing guilt, rewriting old stories, and reclaiming the divine spark within.

Thank you for walking beside me.

May you, too, remember who you are.
