Happy Monday, y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! We are back to the start of another week, but it does not need to be something we dread or fear; we should instead view it as a new opportunity. Of course, I know it is not easy, but I also know we are all strong enough to find the motivation to tackle the week ahead. Understanding the weekend is over, what was the best thing about your weekend? Is there anything you are looking forward to this week? I might be one of the most boring people in the world, but I would rather live my life without drama and limit chaos because that causes too much stress.

While we must stay motivated to tackle anything, especially another daunting week, we must also spread both kindness and happiness! There are many ways to do this in your own world while going through daily life. Spreading an optimistic outlook can be easy to forget, but we also may fail to remember how much it can help those around us. A few things we should keep in mind to assist us in being kinder are the following:
We get what we give. Of course, some people will be ungrateful and miserable because of various issues in their lives, and they may not reciprocate your kindness. For the most part, people over time will treat you the same way you are treating them.
When we are kinder to others, we will start being kinder to ourselves. If this sounds strange, try it and you will see that when you are kind to others, your self-esteem will rise, and you will end up being kinder to yourself.
Spreading kindness creates a happier place to live in. Being kind not only makes our little world better, but it can also help our environment.

I know everyone must be wondering how you can start spreading kindness and happiness daily. I am going to share a few ways, and you can decide which of them resonates most with you. Of course, you can try several of them or discover your own ways to start spreading kindness and happiness as much as you can!
- Verbalize Gratitude:
Reflect on what you are grateful for about someone in your life. You might have someone close to you who is a good listener and is always quick to help when you need help. Maybe there is someone close to you who knows how your mind operates and understands the best ways to help with ease and without question. You can simply express your gratitude with a humble “thank you,” or do something special for this person.
- Exchange unconstructive criticism.

Too many people are quick to overly criticize others. Instead of criticizing others, we should encourage them, which will help them increase their self-confidence. Most people respond negatively to too much unnecessary criticism. Unfortunately, this will only make matters for everyone involved much worse. When we try to be more encouraging, it can make things light-hearted and fun in the long term.
- Remember how your felt from another’s kindness

Sit alone for a few moments and remember a time or two when another’s kindness helped you and touched your heart. Think about the ways you can do the same thing for someone in your life. With one simple gesture, you can make someone feel good about themselves and life.
- Do not forget the small acts of kindness
When you are driving to work or the store, let someone get into your lane. Understanding that the person standing behind you in line is in a hurry, you can let them go ahead of you in line. Open the door for someone who has their hands full, or they may be struggling to walk with a cane or walker, or is pushing a baby stroller. These things seem simple, but they can make another person’s day.

I know everyone reading this post is already doing what they can to spread kindness and happiness, but I hope what I shared resonates with what you have already been doing. If you know anyone who struggles to do the same, hopefully, this will be helpful for them to read. I think we can agree that life is not easy, and there is too much hatred spreading through the world. Unfortunately, with the level of hate in the United States, it is going to take an army of happiness and kindness to combat it. If hate can spread as quickly as it already has, we must take the steps necessary to end it and hope that kindness can spread just as quickly. Life is too short for our lives filled with hate, and I think we can all agree that being kind and happy is much easier.

I know there were already a few other quotes in this post, but I wanted to share one extra quote to help motivate you for the week. Although life hands us things we find difficult, we are never given anything we cannot handle. With that said, it is also true that we often receive what we put out there in the world. I take this to mean that the more love, kindness, happiness, and truth we put out into the world, we will receive the same in return. There is no need for anyone to be unkind to another person because if we do, we will receive a lot of unkindness in return. We should live our lives every day as honest, loving, and good people, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because it is who we want to be. Most of us were taught as young children to be honest and kind, but too many people have forgotten those lessons over the years, or they were never taught.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have enjoyed what I shared, and something resonates with you. At the beginning of each week, we must find something that motivates us to keep moving forward, and I hope that something in this post has done so. I always look forward to reading any comments you may have, and I will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget I am always sending y’all LOTS of love
, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes
!

Always, Alyssa
